Elizabeth’s Speisehaus Reviews

This family business is a labor of love and a unique addition to our community. I recommend you go for a special event or when you just want something out of the ordinary.

Had lunch today. First time for a Ruben sandwich. It was very good. My usual is the schnitzel of the day with sauce. All there sides are very good. Service is good. The food is fresh and homemade. This restaurant is your base restaurant, no frills but that is what I love love about it. A must try!

Excellent. Authentic, full of flavor, awesome service from the owner Susan. So thrilled to have a German restaurant in Little Mountain. Home cooking in an unsuspecting building, simple dining room, with all the cut to the chase German vibes. We had the Rueben Burger and the Schnitzel plate.... every last bite was delicious, the crispy potatoes and onions "like grandmas" my friend said. The burger juicy, full of flavor with that pickled flavor only someone with German lineage could infuse. I had the schnitzel platter, schnitzel melted in my mouth, cabbage perfect, green beans understated but perfect compliment.... and of course those potatoes. Can't wait to go back. The dinner menu has even more of my German faves.... so looking forward to go again. Eat here! It's awesome.

A great taste of Germany! Small place that serves big tastes. They start with a tasty salad of lettuce, pasta, chopped ham pieces, and beets with rolls and butter. I enjoyed the Jaeger Schniztel with red cabbage and German potato salad. My husband chose the pork schnitzel, red cabbage, and potato salad. Both dishes had perfect sized portions and left us very satisfied. We got an order of apple strudel and the blueberry cake to go. DELISH! We enjoyed dinner very much and look forward to visiting again soon.
